About Us - Message from the CEO

Hammer's mission is simple, yet profound - "To provide individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience life to its fullest." Underlying this mission are several important values: Tim Nelson, CEO

People with disabilities share a common humanity with those of us who are not disabled.
As fellow human beings, people with disabilities should be given the same opportunities that non-disabled people have to live satisfying and productive lives.
Since by virtue of these individuals' disabilities, they are not able to achieve a satisfying life without support from the community, the community is needed to supply resources to allow them to achieve these goals.
