Timothy Nelson, Chief
Executive Officer.
In
1998, Tim Nelson was appointed Chief Executive Officer
after having served Hammer Residences in a variety of
capacities since 1977. Tim is responsible for the overall
management and operations of Hammer Residences. Tim
possesses a BA in education and an MA in psychology.
James Landt, Chief Financial
Officer.
Since joining Hammer Residences in 1997, Jim
Landt has been responsible for all finance and accounting
functions of Hammer Residences. His responsibilities
include finance management, the accounting of all revenue
and expenses, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Lisbeth Armstrong,
Director of Program Services.
Since 1985, Lisbeth Armstrong's
experience and skills have been shared with Hammer's
program department. Director of Program Services since
1999, Lisbeth oversees the overall delivery and implementation
of Hammer's programs and services. She is a strong advocate
for the people Hammer serves and ensures that our staff
members working in our homes are providing the highest
quality of care. Lisbeth has a BA in Social Work/Child
Development.
Kim Hansen, Director of Staff
Development.
In Kim Hansen's 25-plus years
of service to Hammer Residences, she has held a variety
of positions including direct care, program manager
and director. As Staff Development Director, Kim is
responsible for hiring, coordinating orientation with
new employees, addressing personnel issues and planning
annual training.
Ellen Timmerman-Borer,
Director of Development
After graduating from the
College of St. Catherine in 1982, Timmerman-Borer started
her career working with a group of young men in the
old Hammer dorms. Since then, Timmerman-Borer has served
in many capacities that have included developing a recreation
program, managing volunteers and serving as a member
of the directors’ team. Beginning in 1999, Timmerman-Borer
has worked in Hammer’s development department
as the Associate Director or Communication, Acting Director.
In 2006, Ellen became the Director of Development and
Communication.
Tim Eshelman, Director of
Environmental Services.
As Director of Environmental
Services, Tim Eshelman is responsible for the physical
maintenance, fire safety and federal and state code
regulations of all Hammer Residences sites. Tim also
oversees the requisition of all goods and services purchased
for the organization.
Katie Bottiger, Director
of Community Supports
Katie joined Hammer Residences
in 1992 as a Direct Support Professional and has held
her current position since 2000. She is responsible
for recruiting, training, placing, supervising, and
recognizing the volunteers that give their time to Hammer.
Katie also oversees the recreation department, family
picnic, and advocacy group. She is strong advocate for
the individuals who live at Hammer, striving to make
sure that they can reach their potential and fulfill
their dreams. Katie has a BA in Criminology and Sociology.
Sharon Knodel, RN,
Director of Health Services.
