Julie Jurrjens
Hammer’s 2010 Community Partner Award Recipient
Julie is a multi-tasker extraordinaire for Hammer. Starting in August 2005 as a pet therapy volunteer she has spent many hours at Jersey with her cat Rorey. Julie is a graphic design artist by profession and she followed her pet therapy visits up with a crafts activity that the ladies at Unity enjoy immensely. Then, in 2010, Julie came on board to support Lisa Poppe in her dream to be a writer. Julie volunteered to take Lisa to a writing class at the Loft. Taking on more volunteer activities, Julie has been instrumental in the graphic messaging for all of Hammer's ARTcetera and now Reach for Ralph Annual Events ... this includes exciting decorations, e-communications and print materials giving each year's event a signature look and feel. Hammer salutes Julie for her many hours of service to this important Hammer event. Julie has donated almost 500 hours to Hammer. Congratulations Julie on receiving Hammer's Community Partner Award for 2010.
